How to apply?

For all workshops

In all cases send an application portfolio containing:

› the filled-in application form
› a letter of motivation
› a detailed resumé (curriculum vitæ)
› a written-out biography of 600 characters at most
› a photo

The following must be added:

For the composition session Voix nouvelles

› to the portfolio the specific application form must be attached, available here
› attach recent scores in paper format (4 at most), preferably for different instrumental forces
› it is also requested to supply recordings of the attached scores (mandatory) on CD, and other recordings.
› attach resumé/CV, biography (600 characters at most), a non-handwritten letter of motivation, a photo.
These documents must be sent in paper and digital format (Word, PDF, JPEG).
The totality of these documents is to be written in French or English only.
Enrolment is limited to composers born from 1 January 1979.
It is possible to enrol as an auditor.

For the Oral and Improvised Music Programme Musiques
› attach a mandatory audio or video recording on CD or DVD.

For the Choreographic research and composition programme

› include in the portfolio the specific application form
as well as a video or DVD excerpt of a choreographic production.

Selection of applicants:

For repertory music genres and the dance

› Voice programme
› Keyboards programme
› Stage unit
› Choreographic research and composition programme
Following examination of the portfolios, applicants short-listed are invited to appear for an audition.

For musical creation

› Voix nouvelles programme
› Oral and improvised music programme
Selection solely by portfolio.

To validate enrolment

Following selection, each participant is the beneficiary of a professional training contract that entitles him/her to certificates of presence and a certificate of skills acquired at the close of the session. The contract must be returned, accompanied by the amount of the enrolment fees as soon as the selection has been confirmed. In the opposite case the enrolment will be voided. The remaining amount owed is to be paid on the first day of the workshop.
