Noëlle Simonet

Noëlle Simonet starts the Labkine Company in 1997.

Her aim is to help the circulation of works from the contemporary dance repertory. She wants to help the living memory of dance to develop through the teaching and the presentation of the works to the public.

Commissionned by companies, she notates some works that have to be part of the repertory of dance. She also teaches and experiences her work with children, professors and professionnal dancers.

Noëlle Simonet was a dancer in le Ballet théâtre français de Nancy, le Ballet théâtre contemporain d'Angers and le Théâtre du Silence.

She performed many famous choreographers' works: Robert Kovich, Jacques Garnier, Viola Farber, Louis Falco, Merce Cunningham, Félix Blaska.

Noëlle Simonet has a degree in Mouvement analysis and Notation.

She teaches chorographic notation at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP).
