Two up-and-coming pianists on the international scene take over the Royaumont space to share their conception and reflections on contemporary repertory with young performers:
![]() | works for solo piano by Toros Can, along with study of Musica Ricercata by György Ligeti and Makrokosmos by George Crum which he recently recorded. |
![]() | works for piano and fixed tones forWilhem Latchournia who is particularly involved in mixed music styles (an electronic component alongside an acoustic one). The core works to be studied, recorded by the artist, are Le Tombeau de Messiaen by Johathan Harvey and recent pieces by Pierre Jodlowski, Série Noire and Série blanche. |
These two days will be an opportunity for young, high-level pianists to practice this repertory with two charismatic and totally committed artists, each in his own style, in the creation of the music of our time, and both winners of the Orléans International Piano Competition.
