One of the Foundation's priorities is the enhancement of the Abbey's cultural and historic heritage. To this end, it builds on the Foundation's cultural programme.
The Foundation's artistic activities give the Abbey a new lease on life.
The involvement of artists in these activities contributes to an original new interpretation of this historic site (research and creative work activities).
A variety of events are designed to enable a broad audience to learn about this heritage (exhibitions, archive and library enhancement, creation of the medieval garden).
Finally, Royaumont is committed to a determined and attentive policy of welcoming the public.
This has a three-fold purpose:
enabling people to discover all the diverse facets of the historic monument, through residential stays among other things,
enriching the intellectual scope of the Foundation by bringing in outside contributions,
enabling outside stakeholders, such as companies, to support a cultural programme through the economic impact of their presence at Royaumont.
For this purpose, the Foundation welcomes residential seminars, workshops and gala evening events organized by cultural and scientific organisations, associations, public institutions, local authorities and businesses.
