Fenêtre sur cour(s) work-in-progress performances
A behind-the-scenes look at the work of the artists residing within the walls of the Abbey.
Royaumont offers special opportunities to meet with the artists. These gatherings are deliberately restricted to a limited audience; the idea is to present a work in progress in an open rehearsal by the artists brought together by the Foundation to re-interpret the repertoire, put together music of different origins, invent new works, build choreographed pieces, and so on.
Royaumont is a place for artists to work and experiment and the Royaumont Foundation focuses on long-term research, training and creative work. Extending and rounding out these programmes, the work done at Royaument is presented to the public in concerts, performances, meetings and tours.
