Friends of RoyaumontThe Friends of Royaumont Association brings together private individuals and businesses to pursue a major project: supporting young artists and performers – singers, instrumentalists, composers, dancers and choreographers – under the age of 26.
The Association, which currently has in 2007 518 members, each year grants fellowships to the talented young people who take part in the professional training sessions at Royaumont and then perform in the Music Season concerts.
Companies wishing to become Friends of Royaumont Association patrons can also sponsor a young artist directly for a contribution of € 100, thus establishing a special relationship between the fellowship recipient and the sponsor.
Meetings and discussions can be organized and the patron has an opportunity to attend the artist's dress rehearsals or the concerts and performances in which he or she is participating.
Companies becoming patrons within the Friends of Royaumont Association receive benefits including, among other things, free admission to the Abbey, the opportunity to use the accommodations available at Royaumont to organize residential seminars, symposia or receptions, and a standing invitation to the Royaumont Music Season.
