IntroductionThe practice of the melody or the lied answers specific needs both in technical terms (voice, piano) and as regards interpretation. Among the goals for training course that should be considered as a first step to an in-depth approach to the repertoire, is the relationship between the singer and his/her pianist, and the assessment of sensitivity to and perception of poetic structures, both in the text and the music, the basis of all compositions. In the course of this training session, each duet shall prepare at least one complete cycle in either language (French or German).
