IntroductionInterpretation of 19th century French music has not yet been studied in depth by singers and instrumentalists, especially as regards sacred music. A whole repertoire is waiting to be rediscovered, and it includes the organ and the harmonium. This repertoire contains works by Liszt, Franck and Berlioz, but also by other, less known composers. The approach by Joris Verdin and Bernard Tétu is thoroughly based on the interpretation of this repertoire which is often performed as if it had been written 50 years later. The present training course constitutes a complete rethink, and has much in common with baroque preoccupations of 30 years ago. The course has a triple goal:
 | to reveal an extremely rich repertoire to young performers, be they singers or keyboard players.
| | to teach singers how to sing with organ and / or choir.
| | to teach organists how to work with others. |
