The Musée d’Orsay and the Fondation Royaumont have joined forces to create an academy dedicated to the art of the melody and the lied, two musical forms contemporary with Impressionism. At the time, Claude Debussy, Hugo Wolf or Gabriel Fauré wrote on poems by Alfred de Musset, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe or Victor Hugo. Since 2018, the Orsay-Royaumont Academy has been introducing a new generation of singers and pianists to the subtleties of this repertoire. Once the year of training is over, the 4 duos of laureates record an album and then embark on an international tour.
Come and listen to bass-baritone Adrien Fournaison, who is preparing to sing Medea <\/em>(1693) by Marc-Antoine Charpentier at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in March and Grisélidis <\/em>(1891) by Jules Massenet at the Montpellier Opera in July, accompanied by the pianist Natallia Yeliseyeva, a native of Minsk (Belarus) and already the winner of numerous international competitions.

Adrien Fournaison<\/h5>

* 2022-2023 : Winner of the Orsay-Royaumont Academy<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

A graduate of the Paris Conservatory in Yves Sotin’s class, Adrien Fournaison won the Lied Prize at the Nadia and Lili Boulanger International Competition and the Contemporary Melody Prize at the Toulouse Melody Competition. Recently, he sang in Handel’s Giulio Cesare at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and at the Opéra National de Montpellier under the direction of Philippe Jaroussky alongside Sabine Devieilhe, Gaëlle Arquez and Franco Fagioli. Adrien also sang at the Royal Opera of Versailles under the direction of Alexis Kossenko and at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, in Médée by Charpentier with the Concert Spirituel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Natallia Yeliseyeva<\/h5>\n\n\n\n\n

Pianist Natallia Yeliseyeva is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Minsk (Belarus). She perfected her skills at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris (CRR) and is currently an accompanist and vocal coach at the Conservatoire Nadia et Lili Boulanger in Paris. She has won numerous international competitions, including the Nadia and Lili Boulanger International Singer-Piano Competition in duo with Adrien Fournaison (2021). Natallia gives many concerts in France, notably at the Philharmonie de Paris, the Salle Cortot, and the Hôtel de Soubise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
