The French repertoire for voice and organ has many nuggets, often overlooked. In November 2021, a Foundation professional training workshop brought together around ten young talents around the soprano Véronique Gens and the organist in residence Thomas Lacôte. The tenor Léo Vermot-Desroches and the organist Lucile Dollat have decided to continue the adventure together, turning to 19th<\/sup> and 20th<\/sup> century scores. A great start for the organist, who will begin a 3-year residency at the abbey in 2023…

* Organ and voice<\/em> training: French repertoire of the 19th and 20th<\/em> centuries; 2022: “Pépites pour orgue et voix” (Nuggets for organ and voice) as part of the Dimanches à Royaumont<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The tenor Léo Vermot-Desroches completed his studies at the CNSM in Paris in June 2022 with a Master’s degree, with unanimous congratulations from the jury. He has won numerous international competitions:1st<\/sup> Prize for Opera and1st Prize<\/sup> for Melody in Marmande, 2nd Prize and Audience Prize in Arles as well as the same prizes in Canari and Froville. For the coming season, Leo will be heard in various opera houses (Marseille, Avignon, Saint-Étienne, Vichy, Massy, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Tours, Compiègne, and Valletta, Malta).<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>

Lucile graduated from the CNSM of Paris in organ, improvisation and writing. She regularly performs in concert as a soloist and in various groups: chamber music, orchestra, vocal music… Lucile is the owner of the Cavaillé-Coll organ of the church Notre-Dame de la Gare in Paris as well as the historical organ of the church Notre-Dame des Vertus in Aubervilliers. She has released her first organ record “Tiroirs secrets”. In September 2022, Lucile will be artist-in-residence at Radio France and will be titular of the great Gerhard Grenzing organ in the Auditorium of the Maison de la Radio in Paris.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>
