In 1999, he performed the role of Isma&euml;le in Sedecia, re di Gerusalemme, by Alessandro Scarlatti, at Royaumont, under the direction of G&eacute;rard Lesne, which was soon recorded by Virgin. A voice is born. He is the lyrical revelation of the Victoires de la musique in 2004 and lyrical artist of the year 2010. Philippe Jaroussky&rsquo;s repertoire covers all the styles of the Baroque: Monteverdi, Rossi, Haendel, Vivaldi&hellip;<br>Countertenor Philippe Jaroussky has conquered a prominent place in the international musical landscape, as confirmed by the Victoires de la Musique awards (Revelation Lyric Artist of the Year in 2004, then Lyric Artist of the Year in 2007 and 2010) and, recently, by the prestigious Echo Klassik Awards in Germany, at the 2016 ceremony in Berlin (Singer of the Year, a title he had already won in 2008).<br>With a technical mastery that allows him the most daring nuances and the most perilous pyrotechnics, Philippe Jaroussky has invested an extremely wide repertoire in the Baroque domain, from the refinements of the Italian Seicento with composers such as Monteverdi, Sances or Rossi to the dizzying virtuosity of Handel or other Vivaldi. A tireless discoverer of scores, he has brilliantly contributed to bringing to light the music of composers such as Caldara, Porpora, Steffani, Telemann or Antonio Sartorio.<br>In 2002, Philippe founded the Artaserse Ensemble, which performs throughout Europe.<br>Philippe Jaroussky has just completed a project that is particularly dear to his heart: the Acad&eacute;mie Philippe Jaroussky. This institution aims to democratize access to classical music by welcoming young people who are culturally isolated through original, sustained and demanding teaching. The Academy is located in La Seine Musicale on the Ile Seguin, in Boulogne-Billancourt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benjamin Lazar<\/strong> director<br><em>* 2003: Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme by Lully. 2007 : Cadmus and Hermione by Lully. 2015 : creation residency for LE DIBBOUK or Between two worlds, created at the CDN of Rouen in December 2015. 2020 Dramatic and musical interpretation workshop &ldquo;Iphig&eacute;nie en Tauride by Gluck&rdquo; with Alphonse Cemin.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Born in 1977, Benjamin Lazar studied baroque declamation and gesture with Eug&egrave;ne Green from the age of eleven. He also practices violin at the Schola Cantorum and singing with Dominique Moaty. A graduate of the Claude Mathieu acting school and the Minsk Academy of Arts, he works with musical ensembles such as the Simphonie du Marais, with whom he created three shows on Bens&eacute;rade, Racine and Moli&egrave;re and recorded Lully&rsquo;s Le Ballet de Flore. Assistant to Michel Didym on Le Langue &agrave; Langue des Chiens de Roche by Daniel Danis at the Th&eacute;&acirc;tre du Vieux-Colombier and Les animaux ne savent pas qu&rsquo;ils vont mourir by Pierre Desproges at the Th&eacute;&acirc;tre de la Ville (2004), he directed the show Il Fasolo (2002) for the baroque ensemble Le Po&egrave;me Harmonique and, as part of the Acad&eacute;mie Bach d&rsquo;Arcques-la-Bataille, L&rsquo;autre Monde ou les Estats et Empires de la Lune (The Other World or the Estates and Empires of the Moon) by Savinien Cyrano de Bergerac. The creation of Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme in 2004 in a comedy-ballet version, unanimously acclaimed by the critics, established him as one of the great architects of the revival of Baroque performance in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brice Sailly <\/strong>conductor<br><em>* 2010\/2012: training and production of the stage unit &ldquo;Egisto by Mazzocchi and Marazzoli&rdquo; with the Paladins. 2014: residency &ldquo;Dell&rsquo;onesta Dissimulazione, Fiction musicologique&rdquo; with Muriel Ferraro and Jane Piot. Conference &ldquo;The modern harpsichord and the return to early music at the end of the 19th century&rdquo;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After studying with Elisabeth Joy&eacute;, he continued his training at the Conservatoire National Sup&eacute;rieur de Musique de Paris with Olivier Baumont, Blandine Rannou and Kenneth Weiss. He deepened his knowledge by meeting personalities such as Pierre Hanta&iuml;, Skip Semp&eacute; and Fabio Bonizzoni.<br>A sought-after continuo player, Brice Sailly collaborates with many ensembles: Artaserse (Philippe Jarrousky), Le Caravans&eacute;rail (Bertrand Cuiller), Pulcinella (Oph&eacute;lie Gaillard), Notturna (Christopher Palameta), Les Accents (Thibaut Noally), Alia Mens (Olivier Spilmont), Les Ombres (Margaux Blanchard and Sylvain Sartre), Le Banquet Celeste (Damien Guillon).<br>Alongside Stephanie de Failly, he co-directs Clematis, an ensemble specializing in 17th century repertoire. He recently founded his ensemble, La Chambre Claire, with whom he recorded a program dedicated to Fran&ccedil;ois Couperin for the Ricercar-Outhere label (Choc de Classica, 5 Diapasons). Open to other musical domains, Brice Sailly is a founding member of the French-Icelandic music creation group S&uuml;sser Trost and has collaborated with B.O.X., Efterklang, Murcof and Marion June.<br>Brice Sailly has performed as a soloist and in recital at the Folles Journ&eacute;es de Nantes, La Roque d&rsquo;Anth&eacute;ron, the Festival de Saint-Riquier, Salle Gaveau, Lausanne, the Ch&acirc;teau de Versailles, Rome, Reykjavik, Buenos Aires and Tokyo. His last recording, Mr Couperin, received the Diapason d&rsquo;Or of the year 2021.
