Royaumont Festival: artists in the garden

The Association of Friends of Royaumont has accompanied the Foundation almost since its inception. It was born in 1973, only one year after the abbey adopted the status of Cultural Encounter Center.
Since then, it has supported the activities of Royaumont, notably by distributing grants to artists who wish to train there. In 2022, for example, a total of €23,726 was allocated to young talent.
At the same time, she also contributes to the success of the Dimanches à Royaumont and helped finance Yann Toma’s installation, La grotte des miracles. Year after year, the Association des amis de Royaumont creates a strong link between its members, the artists and the Foundation. For its 50th anniversary, the association is taking part in a weekend full of events and is inviting everyone, well beyond the circle of its members, to a great gourmet and festive evening.
