Do the mice that live in the Royaumont music library like music? This is the question that the team that created “Les Pontikis” at the Opéra Comique in April 2022 asked themselves. And, without hesitation, she answered “Yes” and then imagined the hectic life of a family of adorable rodents, Mrs. and Mr. Pontikis, followed by their many children, all of whom love baroque music. The children who perform them sing arias by Bach, Handel, Lully, Rameau, Purcell and Pachelbel, accompanied by the young musicians of the Consort. A touching and exciting introduction to baroque music, to be shared with the whole family…

Ensemble Le Consort

*2022: Opera for young audiences Les Pontikis with the Opéra Comique’s master’s degree; concerts The Fountain in music with Cécile Madelin and Manuel Weber at the castle of Parentignat; 2021 : concerts With a charmed heart with Gwendoline Blondeel and Edwin Fardini and The Fountain in music with Marthe Davost and Manuel Weber; 2020 : research residency in library; residency and school concerts The Fountain in music with Victoire Bunel and Manuel Weber; Concert O Solitude with Paul-Antoine Benos-Djian in the framework of the Royaumont Festival; residency around the French Cantata at the Château de Parentignat; 2019: concert Come dear Shadow with Eva Zaïcik.

The Consort, a unique chamber music ensemble, has since 2016 brought together four young musicians with strong individualities – Sophie de Bardonnèche, Théotime Langlois de Swarte, Louise Pierrard, and Justin Taylor – in the service of a chamber work of the 17th and 18th century repertoire from trio sonatas to vocal recitals with orchestra.

The Consort has just completed a residency at the Fondation Royaumont (2020-2022) as well as at the Banque de France and the Fondation Singer Polignac. The ensemble Le Consort is supported by the Société Générale Foundation “C’est nous l’avenir” and by the Banque de France.

Les artistes au jardin

Les 3 et 4 juin 2023, la Fondation propose un premier week-end du Festival de Royaumont. C’est également l’occasion de célébrer les 50 ans de l’Association des amis de Royaumont et de profiter des Rendez-vous aux jardins organisés par le ministère de la Culture…

Tarif unique par journée : 10 € (excepté pour la sieste sonore). Gratuité accordée aux Amis de Royaumont. Sur réservation, dans la limite des places disponibles.

A production delegated by the Fondation Royaumont, in partnership with the Opéra Comique, the Académie musicale de Villecroze, the Mission éducation artistique et culturelle / Direction générale de l’enseignement scolaire of the French Ministry of Education, the Musique prim website of Réseau Canopé.
With the support of the Henry Goüin Committee, the SCAPNOR, Leclerc movement, the Prefecture city mission of Val d’Oise, the DSDEN of Val d’Oise, the municipalities of Goussainville, Gonesse, Beaumont-sur-Oise and Argenteuil.
The Consort was together in residence at the Royaumont Foundation from 2020 to 2022.
In 2022, the Henry Goüin Committee will continue to support cultural awareness workshops for children and the activities of the François-Lang Music Library. The Henry Goüin Committee also participates in the support of the dissemination of the works created at Royaumont, and is committed to supporting the third year of the Consort’s residency. The Committee also supports the Foundation in the development of innovative projects: digital distribution, incubator, etc.
SCAPNOR, Mouvement E.Leclerc, the main sponsor of the Royaumont Foundation’s educational activities, supports the cultural awakening programs carried out at the abbey and in the region, as well as the Sundays at Royaumont cycle.
