In a botanical garden, a flock of animals unite to cheer up the mistress of the place. There is Bonzo the squirrel, Kiko the hedgehog, Enzo the carrier pigeon, Venus the ladybug, Lola the frog, Hadi the duck but also Vincent the writer… All came out of the imagination of Laurent Contamin, one of the most fertile authors of the moment for young people, who had subtitled this text “It is forbidden for fish to nibble the feet of turtles.
At the center of a poetic staging, the animals’ movements are set to music by Johanne Mathaly, First Prize cellist at the Lyon Conservatory, and Maxime Echardour, who designed a fascinating instrument for this project, made of objects borrowed from nature and recycled materials. In their miniature world, where all living beings are in gentle dialogue, questions related to the environment (but also to difference, disability and complementarity) receive the most harmonious answers.

Les 3 et 4 juin 2023, la Fondation propose un premier week-end du Festival de Royaumont. C’est également l’occasion de célébrer les 50 ans de l’Association des amis de Royaumont et de profiter des Rendez-vous aux jardins organisés par le ministère de la Culture…

Tarif unique par journée : 10 € (excepté pour la sieste sonore). Gratuité accordée aux Amis de Royaumont. Sur réservation, dans la limite des places disponibles.
