A Royal abbey where social life mixed with the religious until the French Revolution, a place where Parisian high society would rendezvous in the romantic age, Royaumont today is the latest embodiment of a long tradition of hospitality. Royaumont’s cuisine finds inspiration in the Abbey’s vegetable garden while remaining true to France’s culinary heritage, with openness, creativeness and a focus on seasonality. Our restaurant, La Table de Royaumont, is located in one of the Abbey’s most beautiful vaulted halls from where you may watch our Chef and his team prepare their fine meals through the large picture windows of the Abbey kitchen.

These are menus to be agreed upon in advance, served at tables, and identical for all group members.
Prices indicated are for groups of 20 or more, not including entrance fees to the Abbey. For smaller groups (10 to 20), please consult us.

First course, main course, dessert, and drinks (red and white wine: 1 bottle per 4 guests, spring water, coffee), dinner tables are formal, with tablecloths.

Afternoon tea

Artisanal jams and butter brioche, fruitcake, assorted organic fruit juices, hot drinks (tea, coffee).

A typical fall “vegetable garden taster” menu:

  • Chilled fava bean purée, dill-marinated salmon aiguilette with an Espelette pimiento-flavored Parmesan crisp
  • Black cod with a beet vinaigrette, carrot mousse and wilted spinach
  • Tiramisù with seasonal fruit and crunchy almonds
